Our Style

Allied School of Dental Assisting is devoted to excellence in knowledge and training. Our teachers are eager to train individuals the art and joy of the dental profession. Their passion is contagious and their energy is focused on helping students grow and succeed. Our goal is to equip our students with the knowledge and skill to present themselves to future employers with confidence in their abilities and dedication to the field of dentistry.

Our Culture

Alternative schools and programs are more costly and include fewer hours for the students to fully experience the practical hands-on training needed to build confidence and skill-set. It is our aim to provide students with the space and structure to learn. The character and reputation of Allied is held in high regard by many in the dental community. Allied strongly upholds our commitment to dentistry and pledges to provide quality education to our dental students.

Our Method

Allied School of Dental Assisting will present students with a Certificate of Completion upon finishing the course and having demonstrated their understanding of the material. When class begins, students will be provided with a set of scrubs to wear to class each week, as well as eye protection and a textbook. Class consists of a morning lecture and an afternoon of hands-on training. While Allied is a fast passed course, our instructors will provide students with the knowledge and support to further their careers by pursuing the licenses and certificates necessary to become registered. Allied also offers students the opportunity to participate in an externship.

Patty

Head Instructor and President

Patty started her career in the Dental Industry in 1985 and has been a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) for over 30 years. She has experience in both General and Pediatric Dentistry and has been teaching for 6 years. Patty has been working at Westlake Dental Associates for 8 years. She has two adult sons and two cats and lives in Simi Valley. She enjoys spending her free time with friends and family, traveling, and working out.

Rachel

Instructor

Rachel has been Dental Assisting for 2 years at Westlake Dental Associates and has been helping Patty teach for several months. When she isn’t assisting, Rachel can be found riding her horses, walking her dogs, or reading a good book.
